Midterm Project (History of Indo Art) - Booklet

On Friday, 15th of November, our Indonesian History class headed off to Galeri Nasional Indonesia. Fortunately, there was the SEA Triennale 2013 Exhibition which displayed artworks from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, Japan, China and Pakistan. There were a bunch of cool displays that I'm eager to show on this blog. Because there were a bunch of artworks, I'll just show 8 of my favorite stuff.

"Dreamer of Dream"
A display showing a variety of dimension. Made by Whooop from the Philippines on 2013.

"White Pages"
A zoomed in image of Willy Himawan's oil painting done on a 190cm x 120cm canvas in 2013.

"Summer of Myanmar"
A zoomed in image of an oil painting Zaw Win Pe created on a 153cm x 213cm canvas in 2013.

"After Party #3"
Indonesian artist, Eddie Prambadono, created a installation of a twisting vespa that reached up to 4 meters long!

"Two Little World Dialogue"
An installation by Indonesian artist, MG Pringgotono, made out of hand drawn maps on the helmets and is placed on a blackboard with arrows showing the name of the area.

"Identifying Indonesia Series - The Alphabet of Territory"
An Indonesian artist, Aditya Novali used a bunch of materials and displayed them on 33 panels of 30cm x 22,5cm representing each province in Indonesia.

"Welcome to the Jungle"
An awesome hand cut paper installation created by an Indonesian artist, Rudy Atjeh in 2013.

"Genjilang Neurotik Djiwo Sleborz 1"
Indonesian artist, Mufti Priyanka, made a display made of many mixed media objects.

There were so many other cool artworks being displayed in the museum! Who knew that a museum would amuse me (ha ha). Now all I got to do is make a booklet of the artworks! If you have a suggestion on how I should make the booklet, please feel free to comment down below!!!
