Week 3 - Tracing & Pattern

In class, we also got the chance to learn some things on Illustrator. First, we learned about live tracing on Illustrator. What we had to do was to firstly get rid of the background of an image on Photoshop. Once we're done with that, we transferred it onto Illustrator and pressed live trace. Once we did that, we just added some color to the image.

What we learned on week three

We also learned how to make a basic pattern on Illustrator. We had to place a grid (control + ") and made a trapezoid-like shape. After that we flipped the shape by right clicking it > transform > reflect > vertical. Once we did that, we dragged those two shapes onto the color swatch. When we made a box (M), we can simply click the shape we made in order to get a patterned box.
